Top Secret

You can enjoy a glass of wine in the Enoteca where the father of the family will happily talk you through the over 500-label-long wine list. Keep an eye out for daughter and wife, Natalie and Roberta, catching up around a glass of Franciacorta, their favourite sparkling wine, every evening before the start of the dinner service.

Origins

It all started in the 1950s when widowed Grandmother decided to rent rooms in her house. Years later her daughter, Roberta, demolished the family house to open La Majun, a gourmet restaurant. Always seeking more challenges and paired up with her own daughter, in 2000 Roberta decided to open La Majun, the boutique hotel we know today, built from scratch in just nine months.

The Review

In the heart of South Tyrol, La Majun is uniquely situated in an untouched traditional Alpine valley where the local population fluently speaks 3 languages – namely Italian, German and Ladin, the oldest spoken language in the world.

Perfectly balancing between tradition and modern luxury, the property stands out for its stunning interior design, its impressive 700 sq/m spa and its fine dining restaurant exclusively reserved for hotel guests.

As the fresh smell of pine tree welcomes you into the property, guests arrive in a cosy and modern lobby. The hotel is characterized by a luxurious yet authentic atmosphere, perfectly blending together internationally renowned local artists’ creations and black and white historical photographs of the village.

Whether from your own bedroom balcony, the restaurant, the panoramic sauna or the outdoor Jacuzzi, La Majun offers its guests multiple opportunities to appreciate the breath-taking and unspoilt natural beauty of the Dolomites.

Situated in the highest concentration of Michelin star restaurant per mile in the world, La Majun restaurant boasts an original and diverse menu, including a selection of delicious homemade cakes as well as wild meat hunted by the chef himself! Proudly wearing the Dirndl, the traditional dress of the region, the staff provides a warm and attentive service to every guest.
