Origins

La Verrière sits on a land that was settled in pre-Christian times by Celto-Ligurian pilgrims. During the medieval times the property was used mainly as a priory and it is claimed to have hosted Knights Templar.

This large estate is comprised of a medieval priory and winery surrounded by its own vineyard. Wine connoisseurs will be more than delighted by the wine tasting room, ideal for hosting events. 

Restored to the highest standards of luxury and comfort with great care for architectural harmony and historical authenticity, La Verrière features a priory, large communal spaces, a heated infinity pool overlooking the large vineyard and extensive facilities. Guests can play tennis at the private court, unwind by the Jacuzzi, live the Provençal life with a game of pétanque or wake up with a sunrise yoga session in their private gym. Bikes are available to explore the numerous biking and hiking trails around the area. 

La Verrière prides itself to maintain a sustainable environment: fruits, vegetables and herbs are grown in the garden, and olive oil and honey are produced on the property. La Verrière raises its own lambs and guests can drink the water from its two mountain springs.
