Top Secret

Experience an African sunset in the middle of the wilderness whilst sipping a cold beer.  Masai dancers might even catch you by surprise! The night game drive back to the lodge is a must-do and also adds to this unique adventure.

Origins

The young owners Justin and Nadja opened the lodge in 2015. Justin discovered Kenya in his early 20s and felt in love with this country and more particularly with the Masai Mara. He became close friend to some locals and promised he would come back someday to open a lodge and employ some of the tribe members. And that is exactly what he did!

The Review

Nestling at the foot of the forested Langanishu hills, the lodge blends in with nature thanks to traditional Slanted thatched roofs. The unique location offers an immediate access to the Masai Mara Game Reserve as well as being entirely remote and isolated from other lodges. The design perfectly combines modernism with traditional African homewares. All rooms come with a veranda enabling guests to witness wildlife scenes and stunning views with privacy. Bathrooms are all equipped with bathtubs overlooking the overwhelming wilderness through large glass windows. The whole picture forms an oasis of calm in a luxurious refuge.

Go for a full day of adventures in the Masai game reserve and let adrenalin peaks when you cross path with lions... Breakfasts and lunches are always set up in the most exquisite spots for you to soak into the bush! Two Masai Mara warriors with fabulous knowledge of flora and fauna will escort you. Walking safaris are also possible! The area boasts some of Africa’s most impressive big 5 sightings. If you are looking for outstanding game viewing opportunities, you will not be disappointed.

Relax in the stunning pool overlooking the plains and learn about how the lodge is anchored in the desire to protect and preserve Kenya, its fabulous wildlife and traditions… If you are here for more than a couple of days, it is definitely worth experiencing Masaai culture in nearby villages. Be prepared to dance and jump!

On the sundeck, there is an observation platform with a telescope and a night camera newt to an artificial water source 100m down the lodge. Have a look and if you are lucky, you might see some leopards drinking fresh water …
